Celebrate the 1980s: This week’s installmen­t of Wellington’s food trucks and free concert series features the popular ’80s tribute band On the Roxx at the Wellington Amphitheat­er, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Food trucks will be on-site from 5-9:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 6:30 p.m. Remember to bring your own seating. 2. Giant yard sale: Royal Palm Beach’s Giant Community Yard Sale is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Park, 1036 Royal Palm Beach Blvd. Local vendors, including residents, will have everything for sale from children’s items to home furnishing­s and more. Musical entertainm­ent and refreshmen­ts will be available. Overflow parking will be at Ewing Park behind Village Hall, 1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., with a free shuttle available throughout the yard sale. 4. Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction: This annual event kicks off Thursday and continues through Sunday at the South Florida Fairground­s, 9067 Southern Blvd., suburban West Palm Beach. Hundreds of classic and collector cars will move across the auction block. Gates open at 8 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. Food vendors will be on-site. Adult ticket prices at the gate are $30 Thursday and Sunday, $35 Friday and $40 Saturday. Tickets prices at the gate for children are $10 Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and $15 Saturday.
