Show Mother Earth some love on her special day

Got some love for this big blue marble we ride around the sun?

It’ s the only planet we’ ve got, so learn about how to protect it at one of these three Earth Day events this weekend.

The Palm Beach Zoo will host its Party For The Planet event in which attendees can discover more about the environmen­t, wildlife and natural resources and learn basic steps to help.

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens event at the West Palm Beach GreenMarke­t will include five county nonprofit institutio­ns that will provide a community day forum for the dynamic intersecti­on of art, science and the natural world.

The 2018 Lake Worth Earth Day Festival at the Gray Mockingbir­d Community Garden will feature family fun, rescue animal interactio­ns, eco-exhibits, and a “Drive Electric Vehicle Meet-Up” to show off those electric or hybrid cars, or take a look at all the cool technology they have to offer.

When: Party For The Planet starts at 11 a.m. Sunday; ANSG Earth Day event starts at noon Sunday; 2018 Lake Worth Earth Day is noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Where: Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Blvd., West Palm Beach; ANSG Earth Day event, 101 S. Clematis St., West Palm Beach; 2018 Lake Worth Earth Day Festival, 2000 N. D St., Lake Worth.

Cost: Palm Beach Zoo’s Party For The Planet, included with zoo admission; ANSG event free; 2018 Lake Worth Earth Day Festival free.
