Registration is open for Wellington’s summer camp programs, and the village is offering new equestrian camps. Wellington is working with Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center to offer the camps for children of “all abilities,” the village said in a news release. Ages 12 to 16 can join the unmounted Leadership Camp, and ages 8 to 16 can register for Horsemanship Camp.

At Wellington Community Center, families can sign up for several camps, including multicultural arts, fine art, nature through art, acting, FAME and vocals camps. Behind the center at Lake Wellington Pavilion, ages 6 to 14 can join the Summer Fishing Academy.

Village Park will host an all-day summer camp for ages 5 to 15, plus athletic camps including a basketball academy for ages 7 and older; cheer, hip-hop and gymnastics camp for ages 5 to 15; soccer academy for ages 5 to 14; World Cup soccer camp for ages 6 to 18; speed and agility training camp for ages 9 to 18; stretch and tumble boot camp for ages 5 to 18; and coed volleyball camp for ages 10 to 16.

Those interested in tennis have two options at Wellington Tennis Center: a summer tennis camp for ages 6 to 16, and ongoing Junior Aces tennis clinics for ages 8 and up.

For kids 3 to 6, Wellington in June will offer a TumbleKid Camp with gymnastics, sports, arts and crafts, and music at Village Park Gym.

At Wellington Aquatics Complex, children ages 10 to 14 can earn volunteer hours by taking part in the Junior Lifeguard program. Ages 15 and older can take the American Red Cross Lifeguard class.
