11 funeral homes to host memorial book signings for Barbara Bush
Dignity Memorial funeral homes throughout the country, including the 11 in Palm Beach County, are hosting memorial book signings in honor of former first lady Barbara Bush this week.
The Aycock Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, at 1112 Military Trail in Jupiter, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for anyone who wants to sign a memorial book or share a message of condolence, remembrance and memoriam for Bush, who died at her home in Texas on April 17. She was 92.
“We wanted to do this out of respect for the former president,” Pat Moeller, receptionist at the Aycock Funeral Center, said about the book signing. The location already has 25 signatures after starting its collection on Friday.
The book signings will be available until Friday. The books will be sent to the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library on the Texas A&M University campus.
