1. Like art? Take a tour. Explore downtown West Palm Beach and its art installations and murals created by artists from around the globe on a 90-minute guided walking tour on May 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. Learn the intention and meaning of various murals and installations while gaining an understanding of the artists who created them. Dogs are welcome on the tour. The tour ends with refreshments and appetizers at Hilton West Palm Beach, which has over 1,000 pieces of art in its collection. 2. Calling all job seekers: The 4th Annual CityPlace Job Fair takes place May 9, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Harriet Himmel Theater. There will be on-site recruiting by local West Palm Beach employers. All job seekers are welcome: full-time, part-time, weekends, sales, management and more. 3. Love LEGOs? This one’s for you. The “Travel Adventure” exhibit featuring LEGO Bricks is at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium at 4801 Dreher Trail Northand, May 5 through Sept. 23. Guests of all ages will use their creative-thinking skills to plan and build vehicles to move through all kinds of terrain. Families are invited to dress up as they take the wheel of life-sized toy LEGO vehicles. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Admission during “Travel Adventure” is $16.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 3 to 12 and $14.95 for those 60 and older. Free admission for Science Center members and children under 3.
