Austin Miller, February 4, 2007: The 15-yearold boy, a freshman at Atlantic High School, was skateboard­ing to his suburban Boynton Beach home on Super

Bowl Sunday when he was struck by a white pickup truck on Barwick Road near Boynton Beach. An investigat­ion by Delray Beach police never turned up a suspect or vehicle. Bonnie Belle Wood, March 29, 2014: The 65-year-old Lantana woman was killed after her Mercury Grand Marquis was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle on northbound

Interstate 95 about a half-mile south of Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. The crash caused Wood’s vehicle to slam into a concrete barrier. She died at the scene.

Arnold Metellus, October 26, 2014: Metellus, a 59-year-old Road Ranger and father of three, was killed as he was assisting the driver of a stranded Dodge Charger on the east shoulder of northbound Interstate 95, just south of Palmetto Park Road.

The Florida Highway Patrol has a person of interest in the case and recovered an SUV believed to be involved in the crash, but has not made an arrest. Andrew Badgley, August 9, 2016: The 31-yearold Boynton Beach man was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a Buick on Woolbright Road. The driver and passenger – described by witnesses as a man and woman – were seen fleeing from the scene on foot. The owner of the vehicle was identified, but never arrested.

Scott Matesky, April 15, 2017: The 39-yearold Baltimore native was crossing West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach at about 3 a.m. when he was struck and flipped into the air by an eastbound newer-model Honda

Civic. The vehicle never stopped. Matesky died two weeks after the crash and a Delray Beach traffic homicide investigat­or said there are no witnesses or solid leads on the case. Kevin Scheinberg, September 2, 2017:

The 36-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle was sideswiped by a black Chrysler 200 sedan that was changing lanes on northbound Interstate 95 just south of Yamato Road in Boca Raton. The Chrysler’s driver stopped shortly after the crash, but left when paramedics arrived. The vehicle was recovered in a Broward County body shop, but an arrest has not been made. Lawrence Deacutis, November 14, 2017:

The 69-year-old Boynton Beach man was crossing Congress Avenue just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard when he was hit by a black-colored sedan. Deacutis was taken to Delray Medical Center where he died the next day.

Paul McKee, December 3, 2017: The 47-yearold Tennessee man was on a “working vacation” with his wife when they were struck near the intersecti­on of Hibiscus Street and Quadrille Boulevard in West Palm Beach by a 2008 Mazda Tribute SUV. Alicia McKee, Paul’s wife, sustained serious injuries, but survived. West Palm

Beach police recovered the vehicle in Lake Worth, but its owner has not been found. No charges have been filed.
