Me, Born Again?

Jesus had a pointed conversation with Nicodemus. (John 3:1-9) Nick complimented Him, God must be with you; yet Jesus countered him, You must be born again. Nick protested, Can an old man enter his mother’s womb a second time and be reborn? Jesus stepped up, No one can see the kingdom of God unless born again. Nick shot back, How can this be? Jesus popped the startling truth, Flesh gives birth to flesh, the Spirit gives birth to spirit. No one can enter the kingdom of God unless born of water and the Spirit. This new-birth truth shocked Nick. His face said, I don’t know how to be born again. Jesus settled him, the Spirit, which is like the wind, can give new birth to anyone, anywhere, anytime! Like Nick, we say, Me, born again? How? Here’s newbirth news: > You had a biological birth for earth, you must have spiritual birth to see or enter Heaven. > Your natural, biological birth concludes in death. Your supernatural, spiritual birth expands into eternal life, For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable. > God grants you a bornagain birthright: He records your new birth as a fact in His Book Of Life. You’re forgiven, have a new Father, a new forever family and a guaranteed future, heaven! I don’t know who said it, but it rings true: Better never to have been born at all, than never to have been born again. You may resist your new birth, but you’ll never regret it. It’s not fantasy or fiction, it’s fact. It’s real. It’s necessary. It’s urgent. It’s possible. Believe/receive Christ, who brought it, then you can say, Me? I’m born again.
