Nationals activate 2B Murphy from DL

Second baseman Daniel Murphy, 33, was activated. An All-Star in three of the past four seasons, he missed 64 games while recovering from right knee surgery.

Rays: RHP Chris Archer could be sidelined through the All-Star break. He’s been on the 10-day DL since June 3 with a left abdominal strain.
