Free Summer FunFest June 16 at Arden, South Florida’s first Agrihood
As the summer heats up, so do the opportunities for outdoor family fun at Arden. The new master-planned community on Southern Boulevard in western Palm Beach County has completed its first phase of amenities just in time for the summer break. Residents of all ages can now enjoy the basketball, pickleball and four illuminated Har-Tru tennis courts; an expansive event lawn; playing fields; picnic areas; and multiple playgrounds.
To mark the occasion, all are invited to have a field day at Arden during its public Summer FunFest on June 16. The free, fun-filled afternoon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will include inflatable sports games; a corn maze obstacle course; face painting; mini farmers market; live music by Whiskey Six; and much more. Complimentary food trucks and Kona Ice are also on the menu, plus prize giveaways — including a family four-pack of annual passes to Lion Country Safari. Guests of the afternoon affair will also get to meet Arden’s farm directors, tour newly decorated models and explore the more than 20 innovative floor plans offered by the community’s four renowned builders: Ryan Homes, Lennar, Kennedy Homes and Kenco Communities.
Developed by Freehold Communities, Arden will eventually include 2,000 homes — the majority of which will back up to a community open space, including parks, playfields, greenways, nature trails or lakes.
