TOWN OF PALM BEACH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a meeting on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., to consider and make a recommenda­tion to the Local Planning Agency and Town Council on a Staff initiated proposed Comprehens­ive Plan Amendment amending the Future Land Use Map in the Town’s Comprehens­ive Plan. Staff is proposing to change the future land use designatio­n for a 0.3-acre piece of private property that is part of the Charley’s Crab property located at 456 South Ocean Boulevard. The piece of property is located on the southwest corner of the intersecti­on Hammon Avenue and South Ocean Boulevard (commonly known as Kaplan Park) as identified on the location map below. The proposed change is from a future land use designatio­n on the subject property of Recreation to Multi-Family Moderate Density (maximum 6 du/gross Palm Beach Acre). The meeting will be in the Council Chambers on the second floor in the Town Hall, 360 South County Road, Palm Beach, Florida. The backup material for the meeting is on file in the office of the Zoning Administra­tor for the Town of Palm Beach, Florida, for public review. The office is open Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All persons interested may appear and be heard at said meeting and may likewise submit written statements prior to and at said meeting. You are advised that if any person decides to appeal any recommenda­tion made by the Planning and Zoning Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he/she will need to ensure that a verbatim recording of the testimony is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
