Dog day of summer: Bring your pooch to Royal Palm Beach’s Woofapalooza, which begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bark Park at Commons Park, 11600 Poinciana Blvd. The free event includes vendors with information about dog grooming and training. Get your laugh on: Don Chepo’s Taco Shop, 10660 Forest Hill Blvd., No. 170, Wellington, will have its first Comedy Night on July 18. Kendall “Shorty” Ward and Michael Murillo will perform. The $29 ticket includes a three-course meal that begins at 6:45 p.m. and then the show at 8 p.m. The first course will be a drunken Mexican shrimp taco salad, the second course is mojo pulled-pork enchiladas with creamy green chile sauce and the third course is Mexican chocolate chunk bread pudding with mint chocolate Kahlua creme anglaise.
