School district to hold bus driver job fair

The Palm Beach County School District is looking for a few good bus drivers. From 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, candidates are welcome to apply at the district’s bus facility at 3376 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach.

Candidates must be a licensed driver for a least five years and have a good driving record.

Successful candidates will be paid $11.04 per hour for up to 80 hours during training. Once trained, bus drivers will receive a starting pay of $14.42 per hour, plus full benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance.

Applicants are encouraged to fill out the application online prior to the fair. However, computers will be available and staff will be on hand to assist in completing the online application.

Those who have completed an application prior to the fair will be interviewed and could be offered a position on site.
