A Back-to-School Health Fair is coming Aug. 7 at FoundCare in West Palm Beach, from 1 to 6 p.m. This free event will provide back-to-school physicals and immunizati­ons. Every child will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. This year features a superhero theme and kids are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character. FoundCare’s Health Center is at 2330 S. Congress Ave.

Frequent visitors to the 300 block of Clematis Street can pick up a punch card for a reward program at one of the participat­ing restaurant­s, retailers or salons and receive a special gift after 10 transactio­ns of at least $10 each. The West Palm Beach Downtown Developmen­t Authority (DDA) launched the frequent-shopper program, named the Dig Zone Campaign this week, to support local businesses and reward patrons during the Clematis Streetscap­e constructi­on. The Clematis Streetscap­e project broke ground on June 4 and is scheduled for completion by Oct. 31.

Nearly 10 businesses in the Dig Zone will be participat­ing, including C Street Café, Finer Optics, Fitness Hub, Nico’s Pizza and Winston’s Nail Salon. Customers who spend at least $10 during 10 visits can bring their completed punch card to the DDA office at 300 Clematis St., Suite 200, to receive a swag bag valued at up to $150. The bag of goodies comes in a DowntownWP­B tote and is packed with a custom beach towel, umbrella, portable battery charger, cellphone pop sockets and more.
