When Bastille Day and the World Cup finals fall on the same weekend, the Francophile universe tilts just a little.

Today we can all travel to France without leaving Palm Beach County. Consider Bastille Day your flight there – and your best excuse to keep celebrating France’s win over Belgium this week en route to Sunday’s World Cup final.

In any case, your culinary options today are copieux.

Pistache in West Palm Beach starts the party early at brunch today with “rosé á volonté” (unlimited rosé) poured from those impressively large bottles. \

For dinner, the buzzy bistro rolls out a special a la carte menu that pops with such French favorites as bouillabaisse, Burgundianstyle escargot and pistachio crème brûlée.

The voyage is made complete via live music from Les Nuages, a band that features my favorite accordion player (and colleague), Frank Cerabino.

Pistache: 101 N. Clematis St., West Palm Beach; 561-833-5090

For a more boho vibe, head to Northwood, where Pétanque Kitchen will be offering special dishes in honor of the holiday. As you might expect from the funky bar’s name, there will be celebratory pétanque games as well.

Pétanque: 517 Northwood Road, West Palm Beach; 561-273-5441

In north county, the folks at Paris in Town Le Bistro (Downtown at the Gardens) are doing bottomless mimosas and a Bastille Day crepe at brunch today, plus bar and dinner specials later in the day.

Paris in Town: 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave., Palm Beach Gardens; 561-622-1616

In Lake Worth, Dayane’s Bistro is serving a very French Bastille Day menu tonight. The three-course dinner costs $39 per person and includes a mimosa or glass of Champagne.

Dayane’s Bistro: 516 Lucerne Ave., Lake Worth; 561-533-0840

In south county, find glimmers of France at Boca’s Chez Marie French Bistro, where it’s offering a threecourse menu and live tunes by crooner Thierry Khalfa. The special $29.90 menu includes options like traditional onion soup, duck à l’orange and lavender crème brûlée.

Chez Marie: 5030 Champion Blvd., Boca Raton; 561997-0027

We’ll take one of each, s’il vous plait!
