Northwood Village spotlights eateries with special dining promotion.

Northwood Village wants to put its tastiest side on display with a new restaurant promotion it calls “Summerlicious.”

Consider it the eclectic district’s way of saying, “Hey, there’s more to Northwood than hipster shops and galleries.”

Eight restaurants, including the newly revamped Café Centro, and the popular new Pétanque Kitchen & Bar, are taking part in the prix fixe promo, which kicks off today and runs through July 28.

This series of events is all about the food at Northwood Village.

From today through Saturday and July 25-28, you can find a selection of special, multicourse menus across the district, a hidden dining hub in West Palm Beach. The menus range from $15 to $30 and from casual to fine dining. Mind you, alcohol, tax and tip aren’t included in the fixed menu prices.

Check out the participating restaurants and menus on the Northwood Village Facebook page or visit wpb.org.

After lunch or dinner, make sure you stick around and explore why this neighborhood is such a cool side of town, and why so many businesses are opening and reshaping the area.

Some stores will be offering discounts during these Summerlicious days: Harold’s Coffee Lounge will offer 25 percent off prepared drinks. Juuuicy juice bar will offer 20 percent off of shop items. And Day By Day Shoppe will take 15 percent off any purchase.
