Be prepared to experience the simplicity and amazing flavors from Central Europe and learn about a culture that may not even be on your radar. Menu: red pepper and ham croquette with tart berry sauce; salami, egg, and onion beef rolls with chive mashed potatoes; baked barley and mushroom casserole with sauerkraut salad and apple strudel. $50.

Now!, 6 p.m., Tuesday. Learn the art of pickling and brining. Menu: sweet tea brined chicken sandwich with peach jam; pork banh mi sliders with pickled vegetables; shrimp ceviche taco; lamb sliders with pickled onions and stone fruit compote with crème fraiche ice cream. $50.

■ Global Doughnut Workshop, 10 a.m. to noon, Sunday. It is pretty much a universally acknowledged truth — fried dough is delicious. Square or round, filled or dipped, doughnuts entice taste buds and change lives.
Menu: hazelnut-chocolate filled bomboloni; beignets with powdered sugar; and churro fritters with Mexican hot chocolate sauce. $75.
■ Backyard Shrimp Boil, 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday. Want some relatively stressfree summer entertaining? Try a shrimp boil. Menu: backyard peel ‘n’ eat shrimp boil with homemade remoulade; green potato leek salad with scallion vinaigrette; and corn on the cob with chile butter. $75.

Burger, 7 to 9 p.m., Monday. Take that burger from mediocre to pure magic using cast iron to get the perfect sear and making sauces.
