Ex-Trump aide Spicer will speak Friday in West Palm

Former press secretary will tout new book, join moderated discussion.

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer will kick off the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches’ 2018-19 season on Friday with a lunch appearance to promote his new book on his turbulent tenure as President Donald Trump’s spokesman.

Spicer will participat­e in a moderated discussion at the Kravis Center with Tim Burke, the publisher of The Palm Beach Post and the Palm Beach Daily News. Spicer also will field audience questions and, afterward, sign copies of his book, “The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President.”

Friday’s program begins at noon, with doors opening at 11:15 a.m. Tickets are $40 for Forum Club members, $50 for Forum Club applicants, $60 for guests of club members and $85 for members of the public. Tickets, as well as advance-purchase copies of Spicer’s book, are available at forumclubp­almbeach.org/tcevents/seanspicer.
