FULL MOON AT THE LIGHTHOUSE

You’ve probably gazed at dozens of full moons, but have you seen it from the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse? Two Lighthouse Moonrise Tours are scheduled for this weekend: from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Sign up to see the dazzling spectacle from the top of the lighthouse’s 105 steps. Tickets can be bought online or by calling 561-747-8380, Ext. 101. Cost is $25 per person and $20 for lighthouse members. Children must be accompanie­d by adults and be at least 4 feet tall to climb the lighthouse, at 500 Captain Armour’s Way in Jupiter.

BMX COMPETITIO­N FOR ALL AGES

The Jupiter Skate Park at Abacoa Community Park, 1501 Frederick Small Road, will host a hair-raising Back 2 School BMX Jam event on Saturday starting at noon. Registrati­on, beginning at 10 a.m., is $15 for each of the four age groups: 12 and under; 13 to 15; 16 to 29; and 30 and above. NATIVE FISH FEEDING

The Loxahatche­e River Center holds free public tours of its aquariums every Saturday at 2 p.m. The center, at 805 U.S. 1 in Jupiter, teaches visitors about Florida’s first National Wild and Scenic River and will show off the fish during feeding time.
