Endorsements for primary elections
Here are The Palm Beach Post Editorial Board’s political candidate endorsements for the Aug. 28 primary judicial, school board, county commission, and Boca Raton special elections.
We arrived at our endorsements after interviewing the candidates, studying their records and weighing their merits against those of their competitors.
Some candidates declined to meet with us or their schedules didn’t permit it; in those cases, we made no endorsement.
Early voting is already underway for the Tuesday primary. At stake is the chance to choose party nominees in the November general election for state and federal offices, and to fill several local positions.
