CRAFT BEER BASH

PGA National Resort & Spa, 400 Avenue of the Champions, is hosting its Craft Beer Bash from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 8. On tap are release tastings, live music and unlimited samplings of more than 150 craft beers and ciders. They can vote for the best craft brewery and hard cider, and a panel will judge a home brewers contest. Food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $39 in advance or $49 at the door.

A $149 craft beer bash room package for a single-occupancy room includes one general admission ticket. A $179 room package for a double-occupancy room includes two general admission tickets. MOM CONVENTION

The PalmMom Convention will host family activities and showcase local experts, entreprene­urs and educators to work with parents. The day-long event is slated to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Mandel JCC, 5221 Hood Road in Palm Beach Gardens. It includes 30-minute workshops from profession­als in parenting-related fields, as well as product displays.

An Early Bird All Access Pass is $10. A Family All Access Pass is $20.

OPEN MIC NIGHT

Twisted Trunk Brewing, 2000 PGA Blvd., Suite 5506, is hosting an acoustic open mic night from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 9. Bring your acoustic guitar and play, sing or listen while you drink from a selection of craft beer brewed on the premises.
