1. Brightline deal. This Labor Day weekend is the last chance for families to take advantage of Brightline’s Kids Ride Free promotion. Up to two children 12 years of age or younger will receive compliment­ary tickets on Brightline with the purchase of one adult Smart service ticket for a trip between Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

2. Break dancing competitio­n. On Sunday, from 5 to 10 p.m., the West Palm Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) and West Palm Beach Police Department are hosting the second edition of Bragging Rights, a break-dancing competitio­n. Hosted by Will Styles, the event includes $1,000 in cash and prizes and music by D J Chief. Dancers have a chance to win in three different categories, including 1 vs. 1 Peewee BBoy Battle, 2 vs. 2 BBoy Battle and the All Styles Battle 2 vs. 2. 3. Urban Youth Artisan shop. The Grand (re)Opening of the Urban Youth Artisan Shop is Saturday at City Place, two doors down from Starbucks. Meet student bakers from 4 to 7 p.m., as they offer samples of the baked goods and sweets that they have made through our Art of Baking Class. New artwork and student photograph­y will be available for purchase.

The Urban Youth Artisans Shop was birthed out of Urban Youth Impact. Over the past 21 years, Urban Youth Impact has been dedicated to providing educationa­l enrichment, resources, safe environmen­ts, personal mentorship and job-readiness programs to facilitate the growth and developmen­t of Palm Beach County’s underserve­d youth.
