Calling boys and girls between 5 and 10: you too can become a Cub Scout. Gulf Stream Council’s Be A Scout Day on Saturday is open to all current and prospectiv­e Cub Scouts. The event with free admission will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tanah Keeta Scout Reservatio­n, 8501 SE Boy Scout Road in Tequesta. There will be food trucks, archery, crafts, BB and slingshot ranges and other activities. Early registrati­on starts at 8:30 a.m. for new Cub Scouts, those interested in joining, current Scouts who bring a non-scout friend and Be A Scout Day volunteers. OCEAN OF NOTES

An American guitarist, an Australian violinist and a Scottish guitarist will take you on a sonic journey during the 2018 Ocean of Notes Concert: Virtuosity from the Soul from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Performing Arts Academy of Jupiter, 6743 W. Indiantown Road. Tickets are $25 to see guitarist Richard Gilewitz, violinist and composer Mark Russel and guitarist Tony MacManus. The event is put on by Taras Oceanograp­hic Foundation. Raffle items include a ukulele, a master class with Gilewitz, a dolphin tour for two and the grand prize of a Breedlove Pursuit concert guitar. Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for 10. FREE LIGHTHOUSE VISITS

All Martin County and Palm Beach County residents can visit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, for free each Wednesday in September. Adults older than 19 need to show a valid ID for free daytime admission during this Love Our Locals promotion.
