American Heritage’s game against University takes top billing this week, as it features two teams ranked highly in their respective classifications. Welli n g- ton will look to carry the momentum of an emotional, dramatic win into their game with Dwyer, while Pahokee and Palm Beach Gardens will square off in a matchup of dynamic offenses.

All games are Friday at 6 p.m., unless noted.

Somerset Canyons (2-4) at Miami-Hillel (0-3), today, 7 p.m.: Coming off back to back close games, including a win over Village Academy, Somerset Can- yons should beat its win- less opponent.

Somerset Canyons 14-6 Village Academy (0-5) at Ransom Everglades (2-4), Friday, 4 p.m.: For the second game in a row, I think Village Academy will put points on the board, but I’m predicting a Ransom Everglades win.

Ransom Everglades 21-7 Dwyer (5-1) at Wellington (4-2): Mark-Antony Rich- ards and Wellington could keep this game close, but I think Dwyer pulls away at the end.

Dwyer 38-28

Forest Hil l ( 5-0) at Jupiter (2-3): Jupiter is an improved team, but Forest Hill is one of the county’s best teams, and the Falcons have the record to back it up. Forest Hill 42-21 Glades Central (2-3) at Lake Worth (1-4): Glades Central needs this win ahead of difficult schedule to end the season, and I think the Raiders will get it.

Glades Central 31-13 International School of Broward (0-6) at Olympic Heights (3-2): This is a great opportunity for Olympic Heights to bounce back from a lopsided loss to Dwyer. Olympic Heights 49-7 Pahokee (3-2) at Palm Beach Gardens (4-2): Both teams have had strong years to this point, so I believe this will be a competitive game. Pahokee 34-28

Park Vista (2-3) at Boca Raton (3-3): This should be a close, entertaining game. I’m going with a rested Park Vista squad, which had last week’s game postponed due to a power failure at the school. Plus, the Cobras are shooting for the 100th victory in school history. Park Vista 24-21 Santaluces (4-2) at Atlantic (5-0): Santaluces has been very impressive this season, but Atlantic has passed every test it’s had this year.

Atlantic 31-17 Seminole Ridge (4-1) at Palm Beach Lakes (2-3): After a heart-breaking loss to Wellington, I expect Semi- nole Ridge to come out angry and motivated.

Seminole Ridge 34-17 Spanish River (0-6) at John I. Leonard (0-4): One of these teams will pick up its first win of the season, and I think it’ll be the Lanc- ers who pull out a close vic- tory

John I. Leonard 28-24 Suncoast (2-4) at Cardinal Newman (5-1): Cardinal Newman has scored more than 40 points in the past two weeks. That could continue against Suncoast. Cardinal Newman 42-20 American Heritage (5-0) at University (5-0), Friday, 7 p.m.: This likely will be the game of the week. I’ve got American Heritage with a statement win in a tightly contested game. American Heritage 31-28 John Carroll (3-2) at Benjamin (6-0), Friday, 7 p.m.: Benjamin and King’s Academy seem poised to make it to their late-season matchup undefeated.

Benjamin 42-24 Jupiter Christian (5-0) at Glades Day (3-3), Friday, 7 p.m.: I expect Jupiter Christian to remain undefeated after a trip out west to play a difficult opponent. Jupiter Christian 31-14 Pine Crest (2-3) at King’s Academy (6-0), Friday, 7 p.m.: Justin Wake and the Lions offense don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

King’s Academy 42-17 Saint John Paul II Academy (0-5) at St. Andrew’s (3-2), Friday, 7 p.m.: The Scots should top the winless Eagles, but if their win over Somerset Canyons last week is any indication, it may be a close contest.

St. Andrew’s 24-20 West Boca Raton (0-5) at Belen Jesuit (3-2), Friday, 7 p.m.: Belen Jesuit’s two losses came against a pair of top teams in the state in hard-fought contests. It’s a tough matchup for the winless Bulls.

Belen Jesuit 34-7
