Learn about “What Phoenixvil­le Can Do For You” at a block party Saturday Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Church Street, between Jackson and Dean.

Twenty-plus Phoenixvil­le non-profits and seven local businesses are coming together to make sure you knowwhat they can do for you. They will also provide free entertainm­ent — Mike Kropp Children’s Music from11 to 11:45 a.m., The BalloonMan Jack Hardisty from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Phoenixvil­le’s ever popular Hytha Family Band from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Informatio­n will be available about The Winter Warming Center; the Latino Center; pregnancy help, housing, supplies; bible based holistic wellness; disability advocacy; free clinic; free smoke detectors and kid’s plastic helmets from the Firehouse; Grace Church and St. Peter’s Episcopal with weekday lunch and Food Pantry; the Historical Society; women’s temporary housing; Jaycees; Neighbors Helping Neighbors; Food Security; Safe Family for Children Fostering; Senior Affordable Housing; Senior day activities and day and overnight trips; thrift shop fashions; Good Sa- maritan’s Nourish Truck

Also, handyman services, repurposed furniture, painting services, photograph­y, natural dog treats, holistic wellness ; glasses and vision care, child’s ID Program; Medicare/Insurance

There will be free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings; free face and pumpkin painting, chi gong, line dancing, reiki demo, children’s storytelli­ng, and a thrift shop boutique.

Free tours will be available at St Peter’s Church, the Firehouse, Baby’s Breath, the Clinic and Alianzas.

If you get hungry, there will be food available: cotton candy, hot dogs, sloppy joe, sno cones, Latino food, Nourish Truck (for sale)

There will be free parking at The Clinic, St Peter’s Episcopal, St. Peter’s Housing (all on Church Street) andHoly Ghost at Starr and Bridge.

Food donations will be accepted for PACS and St Peter’s Food Pantry.
