Memory Care Walk raises funds for Alzheimer’s

Keystone Villa at Douglassvi­lle recently celebrated the annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Fun Day and Memory Walk. With over 100 participan­ts more than $2,000 was donated to the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n. Food, live entertainm­ent, face painting and petting zoo were available following the 1.5 mile walk. The Daniel Boone High School JROTC student volunteers supported the event by assisting veterans complete the walk. Sponsors were Health Calls, Vincenzo’s, Berks Packaging, Morabito, Redner’s Markets, Phoebe Pharmacy, A.J. Bolenski, Caring Hospice and the Wahl Street Band.
