GENE GALLIGAN GETS THE CHAPTER’S 2016-2017 SCHEDULE OFF TO A CHEERFUL START
Local entertainer Gene Galligan provided the entertainment on Sept 7 as the chapter started its 2016-2017 season at the Phoenixville Civic Center. After lunch and a business meeting, Gene took the stage with songs, humor and witty observations. The audience responded enthusiastically singing aong with many old favorites and laughing at Genes’ jokes. The Chapter meets once a month from September to June at the Phoenixville Civic Center at 123 Main St. The meeting includes lunch, a business meeting and a mix of entertainment and informative speakers. Chapter membership is open to National AARP members.
