RISTOWN 2 >> The early activity of the Vikings’ offense carried them to a PAC Liberty Division win on April 3. SOFTBALL
Fifteen outs. Fifteen strikeouts.
To say Abby Wild’s day was efficient is grossly understated.
The senior pitcher dazzled in the circle for Perkiomen Valley, striking out 15 of the 16 batters she faced (one walk) in a no-hit performance that saw the Vikings defeat Methacton 10-0 in five innings to improve to 4-0.
“I was in the zone,” Wild said. “Me and (catcher) Brittany (Donigan) have been settling in as the season has gone on. The pitches that Coach Dan (McLaughlin) were calling were working really, really well.”
“I’m trying to get firstpitch strikes, get up in count early and keep the ballmoving around the zone. I was able to do that today.”
Wild’s efficiency in the circle was equaled by the productivity of her offense. Alex Vullings (two RBI), Jordan Sell (one run, one RBI), Sela Fusco (three runs) and Taylor Hamm (two RBI) all finished with two hits as the Vikings’ sixrun fifth inningwas enough to cause the mercy rule. Ashley Bangert, who finished 1-for-3 with three RBI, homered in the win. SPRING-FORD 3, OWE NJ. ROB
ERTS 0>> A pitchers’ du el finally gave way in the sixth inning as Julia Heine delivered a key two-run double to deep center field to lead the Rams to a victory 3-0 over Owen J. Roberts.
Heine’s double provided enough run support for pitcher Sam Lindsay, who was sensational yet again in the circle. The righty allowed only one hit while striking out five and walking one. She went toe-totoe with Owen J. Roberts’ Brittney Dellaquila as the game remained scoreless
through five innings.
But in the sixth, the Rams did damage. Maggie McConney reached on a leadoff single before Sophia Cinti reached on a bunt single. With runners on second and third, Heine belted a deep blast to the center-field fence for a two-run double before being knocked in by a Lindsay single up the middle. Lindsay worked 1-2-3 innings the next two frames to secure the win for the undefeated Rams. PHOENIXVILLE 11, UPPER

RISTOWN 1 >> Abby Wild struck out the side in both innings of work and provided two RBI while Jordan Sell and Alex Vullings each drove in two runs in the Vikings’ victory over the Eagles in Liberty Division play.

Souder allowed zero hits while striking out three in two innings of work while Oltman struck out eight in finishing out the game’s last three innings.
Sela Fusco, Wild and Sell each had two hits in the win, which also got two runs from Gillian Barrie.
Steph Orman had a hit and run scored for Norristown. OWE NJ. ROBERTS 3, ME TH ACTON 2>> The Wildcats be nefitted from a misplay in the outfield to come out victorious in a Liberty Division matchup.
Casey Walker’s single to the outfield was misplayed by a Warrior outfielder, allowing Darby Stuart (1-for3), Bridget Guinan (2-for-4) and herself to score to give the Wildcats the run cush-
ion they needed in support of pitcher Brittney Dellaquila. PHOENIXVILLE 2, POTTS
