C. Elizabeth Washington
C. Elizabeth (Walley) Washington, 94, widow of Edgar C. Washington of Phoenixville passed away on Thursday at Phoenixville Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Born on November 27, 1922 in Chester Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Peck) Walley.
She was a 1941 graduate of Phoenixville High School.
Elizabeth was a machine operator for Synthane Taylor Corp. for thirty four years until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Phoenixville.
She is survived by two nieces, Marsha E. Walley, Phoenixville, Barbara “Barbie” L. wife of Robert Riker, Pottstown; three great nieces, Heather (Riker) Margolis, Camp Hill, Kendra L. (Siwik) Robinson, Exeter, Kellie L. (Siwik) Barlow, Pottstown; two great nephews, Joel A. Siwik, Prospect Park, PA, Jeff A. Siwik, Summerville, SC; and two great great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Levi M. Walley, and a half brother, Raymond Peck.
Amemorial service was held on Monday August 14, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ (Chapel), 315 Gay St., Phoenixville. Officiating was Reverend Raymond Jachowksi. Burial private in Morris Cemetery.
