C. Elizabeth (Walley) Washington, 94, widow of Edgar C. Washington of Phoenixvil­le passed away on Thursday at Phoenixvil­le Care & Rehabilita­tion Center.

Born on November 27, 1922 in Chester Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Peck) Walley.

She was a 1941 graduate of Phoenixvil­le High School.

Elizabeth was a machine operator for Synthane Taylor Corp. for thirty four years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Phoenixvil­le.

She is survived by two nieces, Marsha E. Walley, Phoenixvil­le, Barbara “Barbie” L. wife of Robert Riker, Pottstown; three great nieces, Heather (Riker) Margolis, Camp Hill, Kendra L. (Siwik) Robinson, Exeter, Kellie L. (Siwik) Barlow, Pottstown; two great nephews, Joel A. Siwik, Prospect Park, PA, Jeff A. Siwik, Summervill­e, SC; and two great great nephews. She was predecease­d by a brother, Levi M. Walley, and a half brother, Raymond Peck.

Amemorial service was held on Monday August 14, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ (Chapel), 315 Gay St., Phoenixvil­le. Officiatin­g was Reverend Raymond Jachowksi. Burial private in Morris Cemetery.
