C. El­iz­a­beth Washington

C. El­iz­a­beth (Wal­ley) Washington, 94, widow of Edgar C. Washington of Phoenixville passed away on Thurs­day at Phoenixville Care & Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter.

Born on Novem­ber 27, 1922 in Ch­ester Springs, PA, she was the daugh­ter of the late Ge­orge and Rose (Peck) Wal­ley.

She was a 1941 grad­u­ate of Phoenixville High School.

El­iz­a­beth was a ma­chine op­er­a­tor for Syn­thane Tay­lor Corp. for thirty four years un­til her re­tire­ment.

She was a mem­ber of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Phoenixville.

She is sur­vived by two nieces, Marsha E. Wal­ley, Phoenixville, Bar­bara “Bar­bie” L. wife of Robert Riker, Pottstown; three great nieces, Heather (Riker) Mar­go­lis, Camp Hill, Ken­dra L. (Si­wik) Robin­son, Ex­eter, Kel­lie L. (Si­wik) Bar­low, Pottstown; two great neph­ews, Joel A. Si­wik, Prospect Park, PA, Jeff A. Si­wik, Sum­merville, SC; and two great great neph­ews. She was pre­de­ceased by a brother, Levi M. Wal­ley, and a half brother, Ray­mond Peck.

Amemo­rial ser­vice was held on Mon­day Au­gust 14, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ (Chapel), 315 Gay St., Phoenixville. Of­fi­ci­at­ing was Rev­erend Ray­mond Ja­chowksi. Burial private in Mor­ris Ceme­tery.
