Po­lice re­ported Mon­day that be­tween Sept. 8 and Sept. 11, they re­ceived 79 calls for ser­vice. The fol­low­ing in­ci­dents oc­curred on Sept. 9 and were re­ported by Phoenixville Po­lice on their Face­book page:

• On Sept. 9 at 2:32 a.m., Of­fi­cer Brown stopped the driver of a Nis­san Al­tima on Se­cond Av­enue at Main Street for driv­ing with­out head­lights. The driver, a 32 year old res­i­dent of Susque­hanna, was in­tox­i­cated and was ar­rested for DUI. The driver re­fused a chem­i­cal test to de­ter­mine his blood al­co­hol con­tent so his li­cense will be sus­pended for 12 months.

• Of­fi­cers re­sponded to the River­works apart­ment com­plex on N. Main Street for a re­port of a man run­ning around the park­ing lot on Sept. 9 at 5:19 a.m. Of­fi­cers lo­cated a 27-yearold home­less man from Phoenixville who was un­der the in­flu­ence of drugs. The man ad­mit­ted to do­ing drugs but de­clined to tell of­fi­cers what he took. He was ar­rested for pub­lic drunk­en­ness and re­leased when he was co­her­ent, po­lice said.

• On Sept. 9 at 6:33 a.m., a 29-year-old man from Philadel­phia ar­rived at Phoenixville Hos­pi­tal with a gun­shot wound to his back. De­tec­tives were called to the hos­pi­tal but the­man re­fused to co­op­er­ate with the in­ves­ti­ga­tion and po­lice have not de­ter­mined the lo­ca­tion of the shoot­ing.

• Of­fi­cers re­sponded to a dis­tur­bance in the unit block of High Street and lo­cated two women ar­gu­ing on their front porch on Sept. 9 at 1:38 p.m. The women were warned to leave each other alone but con­tin­ued to ha­rass each other af­ter the po­lice left, of­fi­cers said. Po­lice re­turned to the res­i­dence and is­sued the­women ci­ta­tions for ha­rass­ment.

• A res­i­dent on the 800 block of Cherry Street re­ported on Sept. 9 at 5:28 p.m., that two Stihl back­pack leaf blow­ers were stolen from his land­scap­ing trailer that was parked in his fenced back­yard. Po­lice ob­tained video footage of the thief fromthe home­owner and the in­ves­ti­ga­tion is con­tin­u­ing.

• On Sept. 9 at 5:40 p.m., a man paid for a Domino’s Pizza us­ing a coun­ter­feit $100 bill in the 400 block of Gay Street, po­lice said. The cus­tomer told po­lice that he did not know the bill was coun­ter­feit and he re­turned the change to Domino’s and paid for the piz­zas with real money.

• On Sept. 9 at 5:54 p.m., a res­i­dent on the 1100 block of Town­ship Line Road re­ported her black Pug puppy miss­ing. The dog’s name is Luna and she is not wear­ing a col­lar.
