Philadelphia’s Mummers: Join Broadcast Pioneer, Mummers broadcaster and author Steve Highsmith for an evening of insight into Philadelphia’s Mummers tradition Monday, Dec. 11, at 7p.m. at Phoenixville Public Library. Highsmith, author of “Philadelphia Mummers” published by Arcadia Publishing in 2017, will discuss the evolution of the Mummers and what to watch for at the parade on New Year’s Day.
