St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish festival to return Aug. 22 to 25

LIMERICK » The 10th annual St. Teresa of Calcutta Community Festival will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22, to Saturday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the parish campus on Swamp Pike and Neiffer Road.

The festival features amusement rides by Tons of Fun, bungee jump and rock wall by Bruster’s of Limerick, live music, children’s games, adult games of chance, bingo, cash raffle with $5,000 grand prize, Beer & Wine Garden, and Sponsor Expo.

The menu includes homemade Italian and Polish foods, grill items, Capt’n Chucky’s seafood and bake table.

Live entertainment and special events each night include:

• Wednesday, Aug. 22: Ride Wristband Night (payone-price rides), free Beer Garden Trivia, DJ Rich Sheldon

• Thursday, Aug. 23: His & Hers Bingo, live music with Anakai Ney, DJ Rich Sheldon

• Friday, Aug. 24: Corn Hole Tournament (adults & kids), live country duo Sparkle & Rust, DJ Rich Sheldon

• Saturday, Aug. 25: Gift Card Bingo, live music with John Anthony Seitz with Mr. Mike on the Box and Clay McElwee

Admission for His & Hers Bingo and Gift Card Bingo is $20/person for 15 games, plus one bonus game for advance ticket holders. Both are indoor events, rain or shine. Doors open for these bingo events at 6 p.m., bingo begins at 7 p.m.
