PHOENIXVIL­LE >> Between March 14 and March 17, Phoenixvil­le police responded to 79 calls for service including five traffic accidents.

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Phoenixvil­le police on their Facebook page:

• On March 14 at 1:24 p.m., a resident in the Phoenix Village apartment complex called the police because he could not get his motorized wheelchair started. Officer Bryan looked under the hood and was able to restore power to the wheelchair.

• On March 14 at 11:05 p.m., police responded to an apartment in the Riverworks community for a harassment complaint. The caller reported that her exboyfrien­d was circling her apartment building in his pick-up truck trying to get her attention. Officer Ansaldo stopped the ex and issued him a warning about the harassment and trespassin­g.

• On March 15 at 1:25 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Wheatland Street for the report of a suspicious person. The caller reported that a man dressed in a bathrobe was running around the parking lot jumping on cars. Officers located the man and he was actually wearing pajama pants and no shirt. He told the officers that he was training for a Tough Mudder race and promised to stay off of people’s cars. None of the cars appeared to be damaged.

• On March 15 at 12:41 p.m., a Westtown-East Goshen police officer stopped a car in Charlestow­n Township and learned that the driver was a wanted man out of Phoenixvil­le. Bradley Warren, age 65, of Malvern, was arrested on a warrant related to a previous DUI incident.

• On March 16 at 12:28 p.m., police responded to the Winding River neighborho­od for the report of a hazardous condition. The caller reported that a group of teenagers were car surfing on a Chevy sedan. Officer Fonseca located the teens and explained the perils of standing on moving cars.

• On March 16 at 5:33 p.m., police responded to PJ Ryan’s Pub for the report of a disturbanc­e. The victim, a 23-year-old Royersford man, reported that he was attacked by an acquaintan­ce and her boyfriend inside the bar. The malicious couple were escorted out of the bar by security and met by responding officers. The pair, ages 21 and 23, reside in Limerick and Lititz respective­ly and were both issued summonses for harassment.

• On March 16 at 8:14 p.m., police responded to the Great American Pub for the report of an assault. A doorman reported that he denied access to an individual who was previously flagged from the bar and the 34-year-old Phoenixvil­le man punched him. The man threatened to shoot up the place as he walked away. The bouncer identified the assailant by name and officers located him a few blocks away. Adam Engle was arrested for assault, terroristi­c threats, and public drunkennes­s.

• On March 16 at 9:00 p.m., officers saw a man walking downtown drinking a cocktail and asked him to pour it out. He was given a warning and sent on his way. Fifteen minutes later, the man reappeared with another cocktail in his hand. The 50-year-old Phoenixvil­le man was issued a summons for the open container ordinance.

• On March 16 at 10:05 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of Bridge Street for the report of an assault with injuries. Officers encountere­d a woman with a split lip and chipped tooth and learned that her husband shoved her and she fell face first onto the sidewalk. The husband approached the officers and admitted that he just pushed his wife to the ground. The 49-year-old Collegevil­le man was arrested for assault and public drunkennes­s.

• On March 16 at 10:53 p.m., a resident in the Riverwalk community reported that the driver of a red Jeep hit a tree on Route 113 and drove off with a flat tire. A short time later, Upper Providence Township Police located the Jeep limping along on the Montgomery County side and arrested the 44-year-old Royersford man for DUI.

• On March 16 at 11:15 p.m., Officer Dobry was on bike patrol downtown and noticed a man relieving himself on the Bank Street sidewalk. The 34-year-old man from Burlington, NJ was issued a summons for the public urination ordinance.

• On March 16 at 11:58 p.m., police responded to the area of High Street and Franklin Avenue to check on the welfare of a pedestrian who was staggering and falling on the sidewalk. Officers located the man and he was bleeding badly from his forehead and could not function. The 28-year-old Malvern man was taken to the hospital by ambulance and issued a summons for public drunkennes­s.

• On March 17 at 12:51 a.m., Officer Knapp saw a man walking downtown with an open bottle of Bud Light beer. The 26-year-old Macungie man was issued a summons for the open container ordinance.

• On March 17 at 2:20 a.m., a bar patron approached Cpl. Gray outside Molly Maguire’s Pub and reported that a woman took his cell phone from him inside the bar. The officer investigat­ed and learned that the woman took the man’s cell phone because she caught him taking photos of her over the top of the stall in the woman’s restroom. The officer checked the phone and confirmed that there were nude photos of the woman taken over the stall. The 43-year-old peeping tom from Reading was charged with invasion of privacy and his phone was confiscate­d.

• On March 17 at 3:00 a.m., an Upper Providence Township Police officer stopped the driver of a Lexus SUV near the Mont Clare Bridge because the car had a flat tire and was being driven on the rim. The driver told the officer that he may have hit something in Phoenixvil­le but wasn’t sure.

• On March 17 at 7:25 p.m., Officer Dobry was on bike patrol near the Foundry and heard a crash coming from the area of Mill Street. The officer saw an orange Toyota Prius speeding away so he pulled the driver over. The officer confirmed that the driver just hit a parked car and she appeared to be under the influence. Samantha Sessions, age 21 of Fleetwood, PA, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI.

• On March 17 at 10:57 p.m., Officer Dutch noticed a man stumbling as he walked down the sidewalk in the 200 block of Bridge Street. Harry Rivenbark, age 68, of Phoenixvil­le, was drunk and had a county bench warrant for his arrest. Rivenbark was issued a summons for public drunkennes­s and he was taken to the county jail.
