Let’s play ball! Join baseball enthusiasts Julian McCracken and Lou Beccaria at Phoenixville Public Library on Monday, March 27, at 6:45 PM for their spring edition of “Dugout Chatter.” Julian and Lou will lead a discussion on the controversial rule changes for the upcoming Major League Baseball season, the outlook for the 2023 Philadelphia Phillies, plus baseball trivia to test your knowledge of our great national pastime. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Books on Tap, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for 20and 30-something adults, will meet at Rebel Hill Brewing Company, 242 Bridge St., Phoenixville, on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:00 PM. The group will discuss “Ninth House” by Leigh Bardugo. Galaxy “Alex” Stern is the most unlikely member of Yale’s freshman class.
