Blueberry Cottage Yarn & Wool celebrates renovation
PLYMOUTH — a yarn cutting celebration was held at Blueberry Cottage
Yarn & Wool Wednesday morning to celebrate the successful renovation and grand opening of the shop located at the corner of North Center St. and Harrison St. in Plymouth.
Owner Susan Kessler is excited about sharing her love for the creative art she learned from her mother. An area of the shop is designated “Maxine’s Snug Sit and Stitch”, in her mother’s memory, where patrons can come anytime with their projects and work together.
Patrons and staff comply with all COVID-19 regulations including social distancing and safety precautions.
Ambassador for the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Jeannette Teall said, “Congratulations! Super cute!”
Director of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Connie Holzwart said, “You bought the building a year ago; and opened even during a pandemic; you are a success.”
Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter helped celebrate the occasion. He reminisced about his own mother’s shop the
“Yarn and Needle Depot” that she opened and operated in Indianapolis.
