This collection is just plain fun. Five stories chronicle the life and crimes of 88-year-old Maud. Maud lives alone with no family, and isn’t concerned with a murder or two on her conscious. She just wants to travel the world, enjoy her quiet life of solitude and not deal with any annoying people. This has to be my favorite collection of short stories, and is just about 175 pages!
