Have a Happy Thanksgiving from the First UMC

PLYMOUTH — An unusual Thanksgiving in deed. But keep the faith. And keep Praying, my friends, to end this covid-19 pandemic as we are still working to help people stay connected, safe and faithful.

Remember our Sunday’s service live streams on Facebook at 10:30 a.m. and “The Well” at 5 pm each week. If you don’t have “Facebook”, they are also available on Youtube starting Monday mornings. Please join us and tell your friends! May God Bless You and May God Bless America!

FIRST UMC CLOTHESLINE PROJECT: Our Clothesline Project will be ordering sweatshirts and socks this month for students in need in Plymouth. If you would like to contribute, please do so by November 24 by making your check out to FUMC with “Clothesline” on the memo line. Thanks so much for helping make this Christmas a little brighter for these kids. That’s what God has asked us to do.

Pianist Kay Finlay will be playing “Great Is My Faithfulness/we Gather Together” for the prelude and “Come, Ye Thankful People, Come” for the anthem.

Pastor Toni’s message is titled: “And You Gave Me . . .”. “This Sunday’s message comes from Matthew 25:31-46. Reading this text, you can’t help but wonder: Have I bumped into Jesus when I’ve been out and about in the world? Did I recognize Him? What did He see me doing? Did I see the needy? Did I respond?”

I know you like to sing - - so o o o sing the hymns and Congregational Benediction “Go Now in Peace” loud and clear. You’ll feel better. AS WE CLOSE THIS TIME TOGETHER, REMEMBER: God is always with you and we’re here as a church family. No matter what you face, no matter what trials or hardships come
