Oscar R Tapia: That my wife when our truck broke down not only did she have to deal with long hours at work dealing with Covid-19 but she fixed the truck she tore down

the engine and replaced lifters Head Gaskets You name it. Plus working 16 hour shifts...i’m thankful for my wife. Because if it wasn’t for her. Our truck would still be sitting in our driveway. I tried, my back isn’t in a good place. So, she stepped up to the plate. She is the greatest!!

Crystal Tapia: I’m thankful to live the healthcare life with such an understand­ing and supportive family.

Patsy Foster: God and being able to go back to church, the love of my husband, my grandsons Mickey, Brody and Franco and my granddaugh­ter Melanie.

Deanna Reininga: My friends!! Would have never made it through without all of them!

Natalie Shepherd: I am thankful for my family and our health. Times are scary right now and I pray we all stay healthy! I am also thankful for my new job at Memorial Hospital! It’s a blessing to work with these patients during such uncertain times.

Joe Harner: I’m thankful that my wife and I had both gone crazy in 2018 and 2019, one less thing to do this year. Oh, and, I’m very thankful for the landslide victory that Trump wasn’t any part of.

Kamila Millea: Thankful that none of my immediate family has Covid. Pray for those in our community that do. One thing I want to say, gratitude does not require company!!! Stay home - don’t spread it!

Erin Schoberg: Being furloughed from my job made me thankful for my job. Virtual learning made me thankful for school. Covid made me thankful for my health. Quarantine made me thankful for my freedom. Being quarantine­d with my Autistic child made me thankful for her.

Ken Olson: I’m thankful for the amazing job our students and staff at PHS have done in adapting to the challenges of school this year. Every day I get the privilege to witness them working their hardest to make sure learning continues at a high level.

Pam Birchmeier Mahler-lee: I am thankful for Jesus. This year has been crazy but has allowed me to focus even more on Jesus.

Rebecca Thompson-budzinski: I’m grateful for myriad things, many of those already mentioned, especially God and family. But right now what is resonating with me is the sound of my nine-month-old grandson. I called his father (my son) and heard the heartwarmi­ng babbling of my grandson nearby. He doesn’t speak words yet, but he definitely gets his point across! He was being very vocal (in an upbeat way), and it brought such incredible joy to my heart just to hear his sweet voice. Tonight I am praising God for the gift of sound and the happiness a carefree grandchild can generate!

Lea Ann Mast: I’m thankful to be able to work through this whole pandemic. Working has kept my mind fresh.

Pam Mccoy: I am thankful I survived a horrific motorcycle crash. I’m grateful for the help of family, friends and community.

Stacie Card: I’m thankful to get reconnecte­d and be closer with my twin brother, sister-in-law and my niece.

Karen Lee: I’m thankful for the quarantine. Thankful that we were reminded to slow down and remember what is important. Grateful I am able to still work and provide for my children, thankful that my college football player was able to see his brother play high school football this year. Without the lockdown and virtual learning, he would have never seen his brother play a game. I’m thankful for all that 2020 has taught us.

Kyle L. Shock: I am thankful for my family. We are all standing by each other’s sides during this horrible pandemic. Love!

Kimberly Stull: In March when we got the news school was NOT going back, I decided to change my attitude. I soaked up the extra time with my girls, enjoyed more time home with my husband, and made sure we made each day count. We had some rough days, but we made sure to enjoy our little family.
