NEW CARLISLE - The Plymouth HS swim teams made the long trek to New Carlisle Tuesday night to take on the New Prairie Cougars for the first co-ed meet. Although the PHS teams had 41 season-best times, the Lady Pilgrims lost to the Lady Cougars, 111-74, while the boys lost, 146-19.

Raven Gritton and Marley Houin were the top Lady Pilgrim swimmers, with both picking up a pair of 1st place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. Gritton picked up her 1st place finishes in the 500 Free and the 200 Free Relay. Houin picked up her 1st place finishes in the 100 Breast and the 200 Free Relay.

Summer South contributed a 1st place finish in the 200 Free Relay and three 2nd place finishes. Lucy Keirn picked up three 2nd place finishes while teammate Rachel Jacobs earned two 2nd place finishes. Aumrie Weiss also swam a leg of the winning 200 Free Relay. On the boys side, Fitz Holm picked up a 2nd and 3rd place finish. Joe Cartwright earned a 3rd and 4th place finish. David Schadek and Ashton Artrip each earned a 4th place finish.
