Bonnie Lou Solomon

Bonnie Lou (Fishburn) Solomon, 91 a resident of Argos, Indiana passed away on Dec. 7, at 1:30 a.m. at her residence.
On May 22, 1929 she was born to Donald W. Fishburn and Cristol Day (Irwin) Fishburn.
Bonnie lived all of her life in the Argos community.
On Oct. 12, 1946 in Richland Center, she married Everett “Bud” Walter Solomon. Together they shared the next 50 years with each other before Bud passed on June 11, 1996.
Bonnie was a clerk at Harvey’s Dime Store, Argos; worked at Hart/schaffner/marx in Rochester and was a Farmers Wife/homemaker.
She was active with the First Baptist Church, Argos, and Plymouth Bible Baptist Church, Plymouth. Bonnie was very involved with the Marshall County Republican Party having served as a Green Township Committeeman and always worked the Voting Polls.
Bonnie is survived by her Daughters – Sheila Beers and husband Barney of Argos; and Lou Ann Norman and husband Lee of Terrell, Texas; son – Jerry Solomon of Argos; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother – Loy Fishburn and wife Cheryl of Argos.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son – David Solomon; brothers Donald Devere Fishburn and Roy Fishburn; and sister – Bernita Hessler Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 2:30 p.m. at the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, with Rev. Rick Lowe and Rev. John Fishburn burial will follow.
