WARSAW - The Bowen Center free COVID19 testing site at the Kosciusko County Fair Grounds has administered 10,256 tests, averaging 194 tests per day, since it opened on Oct. 15. The drive-through testing site was moved from the Bowen Center Health Clinic parking lot to the Kosciusko County Fair Grounds Shrine Building located at 1400 E. Smith Street in Warsaw, at the end of November to accommodate the increased need and to help provide shelter for workers during the cold winter months. The site is operated by Bowen Center on behalf of the Indiana Department of Health and the Kosciusko County Health Department with assistance from the Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition, Ivy Tech Community College – Warsaw, Kosciusko Community Hospital, WJ Carey Construction, the Kosciusko County Fair Board and DM Trump Construction LLC.

A new partner has been added with a commitment to provide tissues to the site by Wildman Business Group. The generous donation will help off-set the cost of providing tissues to each person tested at the site.

For the next two weeks the site will continue testing with slightly revised hours.
