Donna Kay Hundt

September 20, 1941 – January 1, 2021

Donna Kay Hundt, 79, of Bremen, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, after a battle with COVID-19. Donna was born on September 20, 1941 to George and Cleo (Davis) Reaker.

On Oct. 1, 1960, she married William Hundt who preceded her in death on June 13, 2013. On Aug. 16, 2014, she married Kenneth Muncy, who survives. Donna worked for many years in the school cafeteria and enjoyed spending time with friends/co-workers long after retirement. Donna loved to travel and spend time with friends and family in Florida. She was well known for her delicious cakes and family favorite, pot pie. She loved going to performances, shopping with friends and never passed a garage sale she didn’t want to stop at. She loved her family and her Lord.

Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all held a special place in her heart. Her special trips and times with the grandkids are memories they will forever cherish. She will be greatly missed.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Muncy; children, Robin (Lori) Hundt, Todd (Amy) Hundt and Michael (Karen) Hundt; grandchildren, Zach Hundt, Katei (Lane) Koble, Drew (Lexi) Bennitt, Connor Hundt, Alison (Brandon) Russell, Jacob Hundt and Brittney Hundt; great grandchildren, Natalie Hundt, Brooklyn Hundt, Finnley Koble, Kacen Bennitt and Piper Pangallo. Also surviving Donna are her Muncy family; Scott (Lisa) Muncy, Susan (Tim) Montague and their children, as well as her siblings, Marlo (Dar) Reaker, John (Sue) Reaker, Betty (Steve Denman and Ronnie Reaker, many nieces and nephews and her extended Hundt family.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William, and brother, Roger Reaker.

Due to COVID-19 restricitons, a private family service will take place. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Corvilla, 3620 Deahl Ct., South Bend, Ind. 46628.
