- By James master Assistant Editor

The Plymouth Plan Commission met on Tuesday night for the first meeting of 2021. After calling the roll, the commission voted on election of officers.

Doug Feece was voted to continue as President, Timothy Eads was voted to continue as Vice President, and Fred Webster to continue as Secretary.

Meeting dates were left the same as the previous year with the Plan Commission meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. and to be held in the

City Building located at 124 N. Michigan Street.

Planning Consultant Ralph Booker presented PC 2020-12, a request to create a three lot minor subdivision on parcels 50- 42- 17- 000- 103.000- 009 and 50-42-20-000-008.000-009, located at 13291 5D Rd in Plymouth. The parcels are zoned R1, Residential District.

The request was tabled at the Dec. 1, 2020 meeting. During that meeting, there was a neighbor that wasn’t sure that the parcel could support three homes due to it being mainly wetland. City Attorney Sean Surrisi had

called the power of attorney for Donald and Mary Lou Fritz and informed him of the board’s request to have someone present to answer questions concerning it.

Lonnie Stutler attended the meeting on Tuesday stated that he and his two brothers are going to “split the land up between us three brothers” when their father passes.

When the public hearing section was closed after no other comments, the Plan Commission voted to approve the request by unanimous vote.
