Amye Gourley to present: Boundaries and Limits
MARSHALL COUNTY — amye Gourley, Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Intensive Outpatient Program Manager for Michiana Behavioral Health (MBH), teaches a class on the second tuesday of every month at David’s Courage starting at 6 p.m. Eastern Standard time (EST) for individuals and families who have a loved one struggling with addiction. David’s Courage is located at 10924 Lincoln Highway, Plymouth.

this class is for anyone who has an interest in learning more about the impact of addiction and hope for recovery. the class focuses on loved ones, friends, or neighbors of a loved one struggling with addiction, it is not taught as a recovery from addiction class.
With so much being misunderstood about recovery and addic
tion; anyone is encouraged to attend the class who has more interest in learning more; even if they do not think they know someone personally who is struggling with addiction.
The class is no cost for attendees; it’s sponsored by Project HOPE of Marshall County Consortium. It is not required that participants reside in Marshall County; or that they are receiving services in Marshall County.
The class currently meets once a month and always meets on the second Tuesday at 6 p.m.; with a different topic every month. The class will meet Tuesday, March 9.
Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided, social distance will be adhered to. Gourley stated in a previous interview, “This class is for everyone. Anyone who knows someone that’s addicted and wants to understand how to help.”
