Michael Angelo Bernero

Michael Angelo Bernero, 82 of Plymouth, passed away on March 3, at 9:23 p.m. at his residence. On March 7, 1938 in Plymouth he was born to

Frank W. Bernero and Cecila (Kinsey) Bernero. Michael had lived all of his life in the Plymouth community.

On Aug. 17, 1957 in Knox, he Married Veronica Evelyn Estok and together they shared 50 years until her passing on June 10, 2008. He worked for NIPSCO in the Undergroun­d Storage and Gas Line Department­s.

Michael was a graduate of Plymouth High School with the class of 1956. He served in the United States Army from 1956 – 1958 as a MP.

He had been affiliated with St. Michael Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Plymouth, Indiana. Michael formed the Marshall County Tax Awareness Committee and served as the President.

Michael is survived by his son, Marc Bernero and wife Lisa of Plymouth; daughters, Charlene Espich and husband James of Plymouth; and Rhonda Schuh of Plymouth; five grandchild­ren and a great grandson; sister, Kathy Trout and husband Art of Akron.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Patrick; and sisters, Mona Stetler, Sondra Kamp, Diane Bernero, and Mary Dipert.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 8, at 11 a.m. at the New Oakhill Cemetery; 1300 Chester St., Plymouth, with burial will follow.

The family will hold a Celebratio­n of Life Service at a later date.
