Munroe accepts position of Culver Town Manager
after a nation wide search led by Mitch Ripley; the Culver Town Council offered the position of Culver Town Manager to Ginny Bess Munroe. Munroe accepted.
Munroe served faithfully on the Culver Town Council for 14 years, but wanted to take her commitment to Culver to a new level. “Working for Culver as a Council woman these past 14 years has been the honor of a lifetime. Being able to work for the town I love full-time is the opportunity of a lifetime. I’m looking forward most to working with the great team of people who have been taking care of this town for decades. Bob Porter, Wayne Bean, Terry Wakefield, amber Cowell, and Jeff Koon have been serving in leadership roles for the town alongside our wonderful clerk and deputy clerk team with Karen Heim and Julie Cowell. Knowing this team is part of my future coupled with the Town Council leaders I’ve known for years is something that means so much to me. They are talented, hard-working people and I feel fortunate they have welcomes me to the team. I’m truly looking forward to what all of us will do together. I have always felt blessed to live in Culver. Being able to dedicate fulltime hours to this special town isn’t so much as a job as it is a gift. I’m very much looking forward to it and I’m grateful the Town Council members I’ve worked with these past years have put their trust in me.”
Munroe is expected to start on or around May 3, and will receive an annual salary of $86,990.90, three weeks of paid vacation annually, personal days and six days along with bereavement leave will be allocated in accordance with the Town of Culver Personnel Policy Manual, and participation in the Indiana Public Retirement Systems Impress in accordance with the Town of Culver Personnel Policy Manual.
