Softball Rochester nips Triton

ROCHESTER — Rochester scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to nip Triton, 4-3. Taren Yates and Abbey Viers each had two hits for the Lady Trojans with Jolie Groves, Lauren Snyder and Lena Doll each with an RBI. The freshman Doll was the hard-luck losing pitcher, striking out six and walking just three while going the distance.

Argos falls to Morgan Twp.

ARGOS — The Argos Lady Dragons fell to Morgan Township 10-2 in softball action.

Aleasia Sarver got the loss in the circle pitching 3 innings allowing 5 runs. Allison Zahm went 1-3, with 1 RBI. Miller went 2-2 with 1 RBI.

Argos falls to 1-2 on the season and will play a double-header with Triton on Saturday.

Baseball O-D tops Morgan Twp

HAMLET - Oregon-davis mustered only two hits, but one was a two-run homer from Nolan Green to lead the Bobcats to a 6-4 win over Morgan Township. Connor Danford went the distance on the mound for O-D, striking out two and allowing just three earned runs. •OREGON-DAVIS 6, MORGAN TWP 4
