PLYMOUTH - Evelynn Nichole Dickson, 1 month, passed away in the sweet arms of her parents at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka. She fought with all her might while being at Riley Children’s Hospital.

She was born on March 12, in Indianapol­is, at Methodist Hospital to Stephanie N. Nifong and Stephen M. Dickson.

While her time on earth was way too short, she was her parent’s greatest blessing.

She will forever be loved and adored by her maternal grandparen­ts: Jennifer and Wayne Nifong of Plymouth; paternal grandparen­ts, Deborah and Tim Denlinger of Plymouth; various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; maternal great-grandparen­ts and a paternal great-grandpa.

Marilyn J. Ralston, 95 of

Bremen, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on

April 12.

Marilyn was born on Aug. 26,

1925 in Crestline, Ohio. She graduated from Anderson High school in 1943 and graduated from Ball State University as a

Registered Nurse in 1946.

She married Calvin Ralston on Feb. 22, 1947. She lived in the South Bend/mishawaka area from 1947 to 1967 working as a registered nurse.

In 1967 she moved with her family to Bremen and began a long career at the Bremen Community Hospital, finally retiring in 2004 after more than 50 years in nursing. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Bremen, Happy Hour Home Economics Club and Civil War Round Table.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Calvin Ralston of Bremen and her daughter-in-law Terry Ralston. She is survived by four children, William Ralston, Diane (Marvin) Houin, Debra (Rodney) Mcclain, MD and Sarah (Tom) Thomas; nine grandchild­ren, Charles (Betsy) Houin, Benjamin Houin, Mary Houin, Nicholas Mcclain, Karen Messer, Daniel Mcclain, Kathryn Mcclain, Michael Thomas, Abigail Thomas; and three great-grandchild­ren, Matthew Houin, Marcus Houin and Chase Messer. Funeral

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 17, in First United Church of Christ, 323 S. Center St., Bremen with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
