Cherikee S. Miller

Cherikee S. Miller, 65, of Warsaw and formerly of Mentone passed at 10:40 am, Saturday, May 29, at St. Joseph Hospital of Ft. Wayne.

Cherikee was born on Oct. 23, 1955 in Plymouth, to the late Arthur and Velma (Abair) Cordes. She was married on June 28, 1980 in Mentone, to Larry N. Miller, he survives.

She was a homemaker and had worked for the Mentone Post Office. She attended Warsaw Community Church. Cherikee always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Cherikee is survived by her husband Larry Miller of Warsaw; son Ryan Miller and fiancé Shannon of Warsaw; grandchildren Katlyn Cox, Maverick Cox, Christopher Miller, Alexis Miller, Darryn Francis, and Jaylyn Francis, sister Brenda and Ronald Mckee of Rochester, niece Tracey and husband George Ruckman, and nephew Jeremy and wife Andrea Mckee.

She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Cherikee’s Life will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, June 18, at Warsaw Community Church 1855 South County Farm Road Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Friends may gather for a time of remembrance from 4 p.m. to the time of the service.

The interment will take place in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester, at a later date.

The arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Ind..
