Join us from noon to 1 p.m. and learn about the correct way to move a cemetery. Ryan Peterson, Cardno’s Senior Principal Archaeolog­ist and 2020 Indiana Historic Preservati­on Award winner, will discuss the relocation of the Bethel Cemetery, Marion County, Indiana. Discussion will include the partnershi­p with descendent families, local universiti­es and veterans organizati­ons that ensure a thorough and respectful relocation of the cemetery. This presentati­on will be a Zoom meeting. Contact is Karen Richey Health and Human Science educator at Purdue Extension 574-935-8545 • The card game Euchre is played each Friday at 1 p.m.at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Come join the group and have some fun playing Euchre. • The St. Michael Fall Fest will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will offer many free events, food, and activities. From 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. there will be children’s music, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be a mariachi band, and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. PHS Alum Brett Wiscons will perform. Homemade chicken/noodles meal consisting of mashed potatoes, green beans, and water will be provided by Log House Restaurant for $10. You can also buy the three taco meal with rice, beans, and water for $10. In terms of snacks, there will be nachos, popcorn, horchato, and water/soda. Activities include family games, babysittin­g and organized activities for kids, cake walk, silent auction, face and pumpkin painting, and photo prop for pictures. • The Harvest Hustle 5K and dog walk will be on Saturday, Oct. 9 and is being held to help support the Hope Restored Recovery Home. The dog walk and 5K starts at the corner of Lane and Sycamore in North Judson. Join them afterwards for food, music, and face painting. Registrati­on starts at 8 a.m. Pre-registrati­on costs are 5K adult: $30, dog walk $30. Kids 12 and under is $20. There is an additional $5 for day-of registrati­on. • Marshall County Museum’s Haunted Dungeon features some of our favorite mummies, witches, skeletons, ghosts, and ghouls. The family tour is suitable for all ages. Small group tours offered. The group tours are $5 for up to six friends or family members. Tours do not need to be scheduled ahead of time - drop in anytime between 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and a tour guide will escort you to the basement via stairs or elevator. Children must be accompanie­d by an adult.
