Plymouth center offers life-saving services to communities of northwest Indiana
PLYMOUTH — Farrington Specialty Centers, headquartered in Fort Wayne, has expanded its services and is offering comprehensive assessments and outpatient therapy in Plymouth.
Farrington Specialty Centers is devoted to the treatment of eating disorders, body image concerns and compulsive exercise.
“Our new location in Plymouth offers life-saving services to the communities of northwest Indiana,” Farrington co-founder Shellie Cattell said.
“In the event a client requires more than outpatient services, we offer virtual outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Our goal is to remove any obstacle standing in the way of sufferers getting the help they so desperately need.”
Therapist Dana Clevering is directing operations at the new facility, located at 2855 Miller Drive, Suite 107. With 23 years of experience, Clevering is practiced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss.
Eating disorders affect 1 in every 10 people, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic background or age. Among mental health conditions, eating disorders claim a life every 62 minutes, with a mortality rate second only to opioid addiction. However, there is hope. Statistics have proven the sooner an individual receives the level of specialized treatment needed, the better the outcome will be.

Marshall County residents should soon receive membership applications in the mail. “It is difficult to get an application to everyone who might want to join the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association as a member,” the Sheriff said. All members will receive a membership card, two star decals and releases of the newsletter.
The Sheriff stated that this letter of invitation sent to citizens is the only manner or way used to invite citizens to become members of the Association. He stated that NO telephone solicitation or other methods are used to solicit members as are currently being used by some organizations.
“Your joining of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association will be welcomed as an expression of your support of our Association and its many worthwhile programs,” the Sheriff concluded.
